Foiled Glider
I've been filling a few voids in my bait options lately. Here's an oak glider with a foil job. I tried to keep the paint simple and have the foil slightly show up on the sides. This paint job is subtle and I think, looking at the few baits I've put together I'm starting to develop a style or maybe a comfort level in the booth. Overall I'm happy with the results.
One thing I do know, foiling is a PIA. The creases on the heavily rounded areas or for that matter any transition area took a bit of work.
The bait has a lethargic action. Almost hypnotic.
