Swimbait fish

This is a 5lb4oz largemouth I caught yesterday at Lake Castaic in SoCal on my 7" QT slow sink.

I was lucky, there was a man and his daughter trout fishing nearby, and he took my picture. :worship:

I'd like to say it's due to my great skill, but we all know dumb luck has a lot to do with it. :lol:

Mark that is simply awsome. Catching a pig on your own lure must be a great feeling. I haven't made it there yet. That was definitely not luck. Your lures are the real deal & I'm sure you will be catching more & more quality bass on them. "FISH ON" :worship: Oh yah, NICE BOAT :yay:

Thanks guys. It is a thrill that never gets old.

Castaic is 45 miles from my house, but it's my "local" lake, the closest one to me.

45 minute ride in the morning, an hour coming home. Not too bad, as long as gas stays down in the $2's.
