Largemouth Bass ......... Musky lure

8" Maple musky lure. It is in a Largemouth bass pattern. Metal sides and glass eyes. 8.8 oz. Slow sinking.

I had luremaking burn-out. I am coming out of it now and ready to climb back into the saddle again. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great Spring! :)

I just can't get into the musky mode this year. I have been chasing the walleyes around like crazy! Tight lines everyone! Man there have been some incredible lures made lately by you guys!:yay:

John, I thought your trout looked awesome & then I scrolled down to see the bass. I am stunned in amazement. Keep up the hard work & welcome back. :yeah:

John,

I am really new to this...could you tell me what kind of paint you used? I am using an airbrush. Your work is amazing. It's something I would like to strive for. Right now I am just using vinyl paints and horsing around at detailing 3/8 to 1/2 oz spinnerbaits. I ordered some unpainted crankbaits that I am waiting to arrive from Barlows....but I have to tell you I am a bit intimidated in that I am afraid of making them look more like floating dead fish rather than sharp looking lures.

Again,,,your attention to detail is phenomenol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Rick
