6.5" Oak Sinker

6.5" Red Oak slow sinker. Haven't time the rate of drop but I'd guess 1-1.5 ft per sec.

I tried a reverse joint on this one. It works well but I really didn't find a big difference in the action compared to that of a traditional joint. If I build another one with the same joints I'll hide the hangers. I like more of a seamless look, don't think the fish will mind much the way it is now.

Sorry guys for the duplicate posts. The TU site kept telling me my file was too big and was posting it anyways. Not sure how to delete posts. :pissed::o:whistle:

Good looking lure, Bob. Really well made. The fins and tail look great, and the paint job, as always, is top notch.

Hope it catches a lot of fish for you.

As for the multiple posts, you can never have too much of a good thing! ;)

I like the fins and the tail also.

I've used red oak in the past too and it has a nice propensity to help the bait "suspend" when you pause it.

Beautiful bait, I'd love to see a video of it.
