Swimbait Video

A couple of you were asking for some video of my latest swimbaits so I uploaded a some footage to youtube. I have both baits in one video, the first is a 6.5" red cedar hi-rider and the second is the reverse joint 6.5" red oak swimbait. The red oak bait having more weight takes a little more to get swimming but once the action is started it glides right along.

The black red cedar starts to swim immediately and is very fluid. Should interesting to see what produces this year. Hopefully one will get scratched up...by toothy critters not just hook rash.

Hope you like.

Hey Bob, Tim here. I tried to view the u-tube link & it wouldn't work for me. I even copied & pasted it to my Yahoo home page & the search came up empty. Let me know if you can get the link back up? I love seeing the action of all these lures that are shown on TU. By the way, those baits are beautiful. :worship:

Couldn't get that link to open as well , it would only lead to a frontpage of German "youtube" .

Never mind:nuhuh: , still your baits turned out very well ,........if my memory serves me right:? , the top one is the first swimbait in here , that has such a dark color pattern !

You should not worry , whether they'd produce or not:nuhuh: ,............I'd rather bother more about having them shred to pieces:yes::lol: !

Nice action, especially the cedar.

Not sure if the differences can only be put down to density, as I see shape differences and the hinge difference. But it does raise the question. It would be nice to make two identical lures, with different densities.

I will have to experiment with density then. Thanks for the vid.
