rjbass 1 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Share Love the baits, great look, design and colors, but what about hooking percentage??? Just my observation, seems like hooks are close together and small??? Have you fished them?? Rod Quote Link to comment
CA Delta 14 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Share Thanks for the nice comments guys. @ rjbass, when I finally went to buys hooks (last minute of course) I picked up some 1/0, #1 & #2. Now that I look at the photo, they do look really small. There is a #1 on the front & a #2 on the rear. Now that I think of it, the 1/0 kind of killed the action. I also have had plenty of guys request that I move the front hook forward. Next batch for sure. Some day I will get it right. Na, I will always screw up before I learn the right way, it's in my genes. Tim Quote Link to comment

atrophius 10 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Nice stuff CA! Those hinges look pretty good. Do they hold up well? Quote Link to comment
CA Delta 14 Posted June 19, 2009 Report Share Yes, they do hold up very well, when casting & the bait actually lands in the water, The only bad thing is when you make a bad cast & realize it's going straight for the rip rap, so you thumb your bait caster & pull back hard (only creating more speed) & then it happens. "CRACK". I was able to repair & it's been holding up fine. Oh ya, don't pitch it out onto the docks, so your buddy (that just arrived) can get a closer look. Quote Link to comment
