Home made Jerk Bait

Hi Big Pancho,

I like it!! This would be good for pike rigged with a stinger treble.

I especially like this colour scheme with the gold and black, get some red in there too and you would really have killer pike lure!

Is this from a pop mold? what did you use for the master?

Looks nice, you did nice job with mold. That would make a nice Coastal salt water lure. How thick is it?

Simon thanks for the positive feedback on my bait. The hard bait was made out of bake clay, than I made a RTV Mold to make the baits. I personally have never fished a slug bait and wanted to give them a try. I hope it gets chewed.

Kajan the bait is about an inch thick and 8" long. I just picked up some 8/0 offset hooks for these guys. Once my hand heals from the burns. I am going to take it out for a test run. Hope the saltwater fish eat it. Till next time
