Jerk Bait

Here's a 6 inch jerk bait made from cedar. I bought one similar some twenty years ago and just retired it. I'm not even sure what the original name of this bait is, anybody? I do know that the original caught me plenty of fish and now I scored with the one I built. First fish on any of the baits I've made. Muskie just opened here last week and I was pitching this one onto a shallow rock reef. Some of my biggest bass have been caught on muskie baits. No complaints here.
