If you ask(or wish) for improvement it sounds to me , as if you were not quite satisfied with your creations ?

Is it their general design , shape , action or building/finish quality ?

I think the main thing would be to get less gap between the joint. try drilling a hole into the female end of the joint that is the size of the eye and set the screw into there a ways. I really like the perch though- simple enough but at the same time the color is a very good representation.

Yeah, recessing the hole helps a lot. The eyes really don't use a whole lot of the area of its ring to hinge on, so burying half of the eye is not a bad idea. Or maybe use the pin/eye hinge.I like these lures, I want to try some jointed ones.
