6" Brown Trout Wakebait

This is a 6" wakebait I just finished for a pike fisherman over in Budapest Hungary.. This is in brown trout or at least a reasonable facsimile of it... Its a floater, leaves a huge wake running slow across the surface.. In swimtesting, I did the "Z" pattern jerks with it & it did a great wounded baitfish routine, looked plenty enticing as an injured fish struggling on the surface..

That trout pattern turned out pretty nice,..... I like the blending of the yellow , green and brown color ,...........and the spots turned out perfect as well .

Thanks for the comments.. No, its not carved, geez, I wish I could carve..haha.. This is a plastic lure for sure.. It would make an awesome swimmer if it were about 1/4"- 3/8" narrower.. As is, its a fine wake bait, I definitely dig the struggling baitfish appearance it has while jerking it back & forth with pauses..

I must be losing it. I could have sworn the picture was reversed the last time I saw it!

In any event, that's a great looking bait. I bet it would be dynamite in sexy shad.
