Good colors! I really have no idea how you accomplished the detail...maybe you accidently dropped on something really cool, or spent the length of The Bassmasters scraping on it with a smooth semi-sharp object? Don't tell me though, I just want to think about it...

Just going to make a guess here -

Did you stretch out some medical gauss, tightly wrapped it around the bait while it was painted chartreuse, then paint the other colors on?
