"Tusker" swimbait prototype

I don't seem to be able to edit the description, but I forgot to mention that I also installed a second line tie about 3/8" below the first one.

Fishwhittler, are those nails your using for "tusks"?

Very interesting design here. My only concern would be that it would not be very weedless as the tusk would want to pick up everything that they go across.

RayburnGuy, I made the main tusks out of galvanized nails, 10-D for the main tusks and 4-D for the smaller "fangs".

Spoopa, you're right about the tusks picking up weeds. I expected that when I put them on, so this bait will mainly be fished in open water.
