RayburnGuy 1,383 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Share That's an awesome looking bait. Really like the color selection. Quote Link to comment
SmokeyJ 10 Posted January 19, 2010 Report Share This one definitely looks good. I've noticed these baits you have been posted have all been Sintra; how do you like the action on it compared to the balsa cranks you have fished? Have you tried any of your designs in balsa yet? Quote Link to comment

Smokey, I haven't tried making any of these designs out of balsa, so I'm not sure how big the difference is. I'll need to do some more actual lake testing to get a better idea of the differences, but I've done some "test tub" videos (yes - in a tub) that you can watch on YouTube. Here's a link to my vids: http://www.youtube.com/user/Stringjam#p/u Quote Link to comment
SmokeyJ 10 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Share Cool. That white with the black stripe down the back on your protos makes it really easy to see the action; definitely have some nice wiggle going on with those. Quote Link to comment
nanticoke 0 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Share Does the Sintra wood have a different buoyancy than balsa. And love the color pattern on this bait. Quote Link to comment
