Nice cork popper , ........did you put some weight in the belly !

These cork lures are rather too buoyant at times , .......just a little lead shot to help the popper to swim upright constantly !

What are the eyes made of ?

When I first started out making lures about 20 years ago , I had also cut my first spinner blades from the bottom of beverage cans , as these already had an approbiate cupping .

Ahh the eyes. They are made from craft foam that I cut with a paper hole puncher. I read a thread about doing this with flash tape and etex to make 3D eyes. I don't have either so foam it is. I seriously can't wait to try it out. I know a place where it could catch a fish.
