Semi-old school. Loosely modeled after a creek chub.

When reeled in at a slow pace the tail breaks the surface and creates a nice action.

With that kind of action, hanging a soft plastic trailer, via a hitchiker, or worm hook would likely look interesting zig-zagging across the water...just a thought. Nice bait!

The action on this bait is slow and lethargic. Your idea of adding a trailer would compliment this setup well.
