I just hope the bass clobber it this time, instead of me beating to death on a concrete pier.

My 15 year old was home sick today, so she was helping me upload the photo. She asked me what happened to the original lure, and when I told her how I broke it, she said, "Jeez, dad, why did you keep throwing it against the concrete? Wasn't once enough?"

Apparently not.

I guess I will need to either improve my casting, or learn to make my lures out of steel.

We all know , that fish like hanging around such obstacles , maybe next time put your boat in a way to be able to cast parallel down the pier and not towards it , I find such less dangerous !

But if not such little accidents would happen sometimes , you won't have as many causes to carve some new lures , won't ya , .......and that'll be bad !

This one turned out very nice , both in shape and color , .....it surely does not require a "Picasso" to make good lures !
