Okay this lure has one of those cheap chincy store bought diving lip/line ties but these lips usually will make anything wiggle. But check this funky fish out, I carved this one evening a couple years ago from a scrap of basswood off of the floor of my shop, and painted it with yard sale fingernail polish. Then when I took it to the river to try it out I got a big suprise. Evidently the grooves in the head and tail canceled out all the wiggle from the lip, this thing goes straight as an arrow! I guess it makes sense though, because those grooves in the bottom of my canoe sure help it stay straight.
