Vintage lure knock-offs

Nice bunch of lures Dieter. I love the fact that your keeping a lot of the "vintage" lures alive by recreating them. And your metal working skills are superb. Don't see too many folks building their own metal lips. Nice job all around.

Thanks a lot , Ben , .......in fact I like those lure styles of yesteryear , .....their manufacturers back then did not have much different tools and machinery like a hobby builder has nowadays , ......thus they are quite easy to be rebuilt .

And some of these lure models are around for many decades , .....they have already passed the test of time and you can't go wrong casting these , I guess !

Concerning my metal work , .....1979 to 1982 I went through an apprenticeship as a toolmaker(diemaker) , learned all the basics there , ...but since I do work as a grinding machine operator grinding high precison hobs of carbide and toolsteel now .

This apprenticeship proved to come in quite useful for my luremaking , I guess !
