tilapia plug 2

I saw a 2lb tilapia floating dead on a local lake, so I decided to paint one up.<br />BustinBass 2.5 in a tilapia pattern, no rattles.<br />Createx pearl white base, scale with Createx trans. med grey, bars with same grey using a comb as a stencil, light fog sides and back with Folk Art metalic gold. I used a black solvent based sharpie to do the gill accent.<br />Heat set each color and the sharpie well with a hair dryer.<br />Three dips with SC 9000 urethane, heat set on low after 15 minutes, and then again after 30 minutes. That let me redip in an hour.<br />I'll let it cure for a couple of days (BobP, you were right), and then take it out for a swim.
