@john i actually did try to use the faceplate too but i just was not able to make it look right, i should probably try to dry it really rabidly with a heat gun or something. the whole process in general probably should be done as fast as possible since the colors seem to fade out from the skin.

Just when I was starting to get comfortable building a few baits you guys go and raise it to a whole new level. Nice work on a great looking bait.
