PVC and Timber

Top lure is made from PVC , the lower one lathe-turned from a piece of willow or hazel(don't remember) .
On the timber lure I've applied a black base coat and shaded back and belly and also did some stripes on the flanks with pastel chalks , .......the chalks looked pretty bright at first , but after I'd sprayed on some acrylic clear from a rattlecan , a good portion of the color pigments seem to have vanished , ....by now I've got myself some special artists fixative spray especially made for chalks , ....still intend to get deeper into chalk painting on lures , ....my gratitudes to Vic(littleriver) for this !
