is the clear coat epoxy?

Its one layer of e tech. I'm considering a second layer. Right now I've taken it apart again and am about to do another coat on the inside of the joints, as they don't seem to have taken on all that much of a coating. Unfortunately I have no lure turner yet, so I just used a dowel rod, clamps, and a lot of OCD to prevent runs.

Really like your use of magnets. Very creative!

They're very small neodynium magnets from the hobby store. They hold the hooks on pretty darn TIGHT. Stray metal objects on my work desk keep flying at my bait as I do the finishing touches!
