  1. PDF Tutorial Attached Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes The following Tutorial is for those of us who want to create very realistic finishes with a minimum of hassle. This is not to say it is the only or best way to achieve that goal, but I found it to be a very viable alternative to decals, and much less costly. Truth be told, I also find it easier to do. In addition, the supplies are more readily available. With very little practice, anyone can get wonderful results. I developed this technique after realizing that it is not practical to print on foil. Doing so, is a tribute to Murphy Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf Photo Finishing Foil and Faux Finishes.pdf

  2. sounds like you have some paint clogging the needle - its happened to me before after doing that - what works for me is i have an old bent needle i use to clean it with and work the paint clog out with along with a fine tipped paintbrush

  4. You can shoot auto clear thru a large tipped airbrush, but its not really the optimal way to it.....I've cleared lots of stuff over the years and while I have shot clear on several items with an airbrush (including crankbaits) I find its much easier, quicker and I seem to get a better finish when I use a bigger gun like a touchup gun or my preference, a gravity feed mini hvlp gun.....I've got one from Astro that is a Sata minijet knockoff and it works great for shooting clear on small items. Those smaller guns are perfect for work like this....Lures are just too small to ever need a full sized spraygun when clearing and sometimes an airbrush isn't quite big enough....Mini guns fit the bill.
