You don't have to use a sander on it to charge it with static electricity Bassguy. I have the same thing happen when carving with a knife. And it does get everywhere. Ben1 point

OK so I ended up using two screweyes together to hinge it together. Two sets are used. Had to add five weights to balance the bait. Swims pretty good, time to paint...

we seal with sanding sealer. rember hang your hooks and rings for testing.1 point
