Thought something like a Heddon Rotary head from the 1920s would be fun.
Cut her her. Made a prop. Laid out all the possible hardware that could be used to separate the head and body. The prop is epoxied to the head.
For the second one I decided to notch the prop into the head. It is still epoxied to it.
At this point I'm thinking about counterweighting the body and using a single hook. At the same time the epoxy will fill in around the wire thru so the body should be stable. Then some cup washers at either end and the small bearing between the joints so the prop spins and I am ready to clear.
I think.....lol
Bump - I'm getting to much flash in my tails with Chemionics soft so using Med or Hard will solve this I'm not getting it in any other mold so I'm quite sure stepping up to a harder formula will solve this? I really like the action of soft on most of my baits I'm not real concerned with longevity as I pour for myself so was thinking Med for the injection and hard for the dip anyone have good results with this application.
And with the new providers of plastics what type is getting the best results I know this is a loaded question but now that there is many more options just looking for some direction.
15 minutes is a long time for Createx to be exposed to the air without skinning over.
Try using less paint in the cup, cleaning out after each coat, and using whatever reducer/extended they recommend on their website.
