  1. This is my version of Mossy Pumpkin. You can see the difference in color with just a small change in light. The one on the right is a little more Green looking and the one on the left is more Brown looking. The one on the right is closer to sunlight.

  4. I use Zap-A-Gap in the green labeled 4 0z. bottle by Robart Manufacturing. I think there are three different thicknesses of the glue with the green label being their medium viscosity. I buy the accelerator in the larger bottle and instead of using their pump sprayer, which in my opinion wastes product, I started using a 1/16" steel rod dipped into the accelerator and then allow it to drip onto the hangers where it flows down onto the glue. Check out the link below. If I can be of any more help just holler. Ben http://www.robart.com/store/zap-glue

  5. You might want to keep an eye on this thread.. http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/2772-dupli-k8r-1000-concept-machine/page__pid__17145#entry17145 Or not. It may not be anywhere near what you're looking for but Gary is not incorrect in saying that if you want to do what you're trying to do on the cheap you're going to have to come up with your own machine. If you want somebody else to do it for you get ready to pry open the ole wallet.... A machine that quickly duplicates lures inexpensively is as much a holy grail as the "perfect" topcoat....

  6. Hey Mike, I use a lathe with a duplicator attached. It works as far as getting the plug to a rough shape. It still requires some significant sanding and the cutter does not duplicate quite as fast as I would have liked. I still end up having to use calipers to make sure I don't sand too far. I would love to find a way to make them faster without taking a second mortgage but I haven't. I also made a homemade pentograph that works with a router but I found it nearly impossible to keep the workpiece clamped up when the router hit it. Hope this helps.

  7. I think I talked to this guy once, seemed real helpful. If it is him and I remmeber right he has a machine that will pop a lure out every 45 seconds, i think it was made by a guy in FL and runs around 15K.

  9. Hoo boy... I'm no expert but if cost is the main driver here you aren't going to beat China. If quality and having product in your hand within a reasonable timeframe is important to you, definitely find somebody domestic to do the work. My company did business with a Chinese outfit to produce sprockets and in short, it was a disaster. Long delays, poor quality, little or no concern on the part of the Chinese... I have a hard time. Elievi g these are the fks poised to be the worlds next superpower when they cant keep the dang power on long enough to spit out a few thousand lousy sprockets!!!

  10. Wow thats a good one! hope you heal fast. I have had two good burns in my past but I havent had one in probably 8 years. As soon as you loose your fear is when the plastic gets you. I try and stay scared of it! I catch myself being careless every once in a while and then I remind myself how bad those burns hurt. I feel for you.

  11. I feel your pain!!! You got it worse than I did. Let me add to the cause of why to take precautions. Here's what I did a couple months ago. Just goes to show that it can happen anytime. I've been pouring for about 8 years now. Josh

  12. I know a little bit about burns . Looks like you can get by without grafts from what I can tell . Wish I could say it wasn't goin to be painful to heal . But I wouldn't count on doing much with that hand for months . Whatever you do as it heals don't let that skin get dried out and scab up . Use some vitamin E oil on it and it won't scar as bad . I'm sitting here gritting my teeth Just looking at it . Been there done something similar . When I say I hurt for Ya I MEAN IT. Damn . Get well friend .

  16. Mike, My mom used to say, every time one of my kids had a problem, "This, too, shall pass". I'm sure it will for you, too. Stay strong, and have faith. I'm rooting for you.
