  1. I have seen videos online of people with very small stencils with there name on it..they airbrush it on the back of the lure before the clear coat. Does anyone know where I can have a set made?

  4. No never do. Only get to about 330. Actually the only place I have read that is on the caney creek (do it)site back in the day and it has carried on. Not sure what kick over is. After it gels and thins back out I use it, maybe that is kick over.

  6. Yep sounds like your causing the entire batch to convert at once a slower approach will allow the plastic to transition at a controlled pace. You can only speed things up so much patience is a virtue.

  7. HaHa I think you did just fine letting it be known that you disapprove But I do agree that idea is not the best one out there.

  8. Try putting in the plastic and turning on the mixer. Turn your heat on at about 200 on the dial. Then gradually turn the heat up till you reach 350 constantly checking the temp with some type of thermometer. You may bee applying too much heat too fast.

  9. Ok here's my version sorry it does not have any of the color you mentioned. Some of the colors you mentioned bleed and maybe the reason you are having this problem. Mainly the green pumpkin. Now the blue I use does bleed but it won't show in the green. This recipe is for 64oz's Top color 15ccs spike it gp 109 1tsp 35 black flake 1 tsp 35 blue flake Bottom color 25ccs Mf blue [this one will bleed but won't show.] 1/4 tsp blue high lite 1 tsp 15 blue flake 1tsp 35 blue flake Used this for years and never an issue. But I never heat my plastic to 350 so add color after it cools a bit if you have to.

  12. Mark, If you coat the bills; how do you keep the line tie clean? I dip mine like you do, when the dripping stops; I walk outside in the sunlite and turn by hand for about two minutes; them put on a lure turner for a hour; then hang the bait up.

  15. I dont measure, i just mix in a few drops at a time til its the consistency i want... MAKE SURE you mix the 2 parts well before adding the alcohol And yes, you brush it on.. It would not get along well with an airbrush! In my shop, D2T is like franks red hot sauce... I put that sh*t on everything!
