If you do a forum search you should find information on building plopper style baits I know Mark has left information about building whopper ploppers a number of times. He makes them from PVC board. I have not built theses style of myself but they don’t look horribly difficult I have never bought a blank in my life so can’t help much there1 point

Just a thought...If you suspect your band saw is not cutting perfectly straight, could you cut the lip slot, then flip the bait over and repeat the cut from the other side? If that evens it up, compared to baits cut once, then you're probably right about it being out of kilter. If there's no change, that probably isn't the problem.1 point

At 350 you are "ok". But still use proper ventilation.1 point

As far as the plug goes, Ultra molds makes a little gadget called an injector heater. Keeps your injector hot and eliminates the plug completely thus you don't have to takes it apart as often. Since I got mine last year I haven't had a plug ever.1 point
