  1. It's been awhile but I used JRHopkins method. Once you fan out the brush fibers, I applied painters tape to the fanned out portion of the fin or tail to hold it all in position then I used epoxy to glue the base together. Let cure. Then later epoxy the fin/tail into a slot in the lure. Let cure. Trim to shape.

  2. I just put a bead of paint/nail polish on a toothpick and then dot onto the jig body. Let it dry good and then seal coat them.

  3. Not fished it seriously yet, but here is a video of how it behaves in water:

  4. I have mine in a room… door always closed and window always open… I have read a lot about temps… but I never had to worry about it… Once I found my optimal settings, I have been getting the same results in the winter (even printing at night) and in the summer… I always use anycubic standard in grey.

  5. I've only done one, so I'm nowhere near an expert. I used the brush for fins, not the tail on this one, but I'd assume it's a similar process. I used an old paintbrush and used superglue to install it. I trimmed mine after installation.

  6. That's a really clever idea. Please let us know when you get bit.

  7. I think The engineered angler has a really good technique. He takes an old paint brush spreads it out covers both sides with masking take, cuts it to shape then glues it in. I plan on experimenting with these types of tails soon and that’s what I am going to follow.

  8. Never saw a jig, let alone an ice jig, like those. Is that what you use to catch the famous Bill Engvall Dork Fish!
