  1. The closest thing would be the Jig Armor green pumpkin orange camo. The orange is toned down a bit because of the green pumpkin but I'm not sure if it would work for you. The issue for you is there isn't really anything for that color. I do the same as you, pumpkin brown base coat and I add GP or watermelon over top. Here is a tip for any manufacturers looking on this site. Make a pumpkin color with green pumpkin or watermelon veining through it. I'd buy it and right quick!!!

  2. Here is one that will work. It is a bronze hook but it is the same as the 570 but with a 1X long shank. They won't break the bank so you can use these in the smaller sizes. https://barlowstackle.com/Eagle-Claw-Jig-HooksbrStyle-574-P387/?afmc=lh

  3. Colored epoxies Moisture Cure urethane. Sprayed with no thinner through HVLP spray gun works great. I’m sure it would work fantastic dipped or brushed as well. Used it as a dipping sealer as well, for pine, maple, AYC, WRC, no issues. Just a bit viscous and may have a few runs, could probably thin it up to 50% with xylene/xylol. Tommy

  4. That looks like a fun project. I am finding out that One and two piece glides are different animals. I took the finished bait out today and actually caught a small fish. It does not glide like a small bait, it’s a long not wide glide, if that makes sense and it shoots out when it want to. It may just take some getting used to. I own a Japanese three piece glide called a dowzswimmer, I plan on making my own version soon.

  5. If you are trying to get a two tone effect by mixing two powders into one powder especially the colors you are requesting, then I'm going to say no. Even if you combine your pumpkin brown with a green shake it up really well, you won't get a two tone effect. One color will overpower the other. However make a small batch and maybe it will work. Please post your results, maybe I am wrong. The only place I have seen this work are on marble powder paints and vein powder paints. There are powders that fishingskirts.com has that has a two tone effect that I believe you are looking for but don't have your colors. The process you describe has to be done at the powder paint manufacturing facility and that is way too expensive to even consider. When you are doing your two colors, you do not have to put an entire basecoat on as one color and then put on your second color. You can put your first color let's say on the bottom going half up the jig, then take your second color and go top down overlapping your other color so you won't have any raw jig showing. Doing two colors really isn't that time consuming. I hope I answered your question correctly. Others may have more info for you. Stay Tuned.

  6. @smalljawThanks for clarifying on the 604! That VMC hook looks great, I'll have to give it a shot on some of the larger sizes. Too bad the smallest size is 1/0...

  7. 45mm is pretty small. I'd get a small rapala the same size and compare, to see if it's a user function or if its bait function. If the Rapala and your lure both dont do what you want then you'll have to work more on design. I'd think at that size you could make big changes with suspend dots made by storm. when you over power a lure they will blow out.

  8. The 604 isn't a long shank hook. I use a lot of different hooks in that mold and I have a couple of favorites. There is a long shank hook that will work, VMC 7247 black nickel, very good hook that won't break the bank. https://barlowstackle.com/VMC-Jig-Hooks-Style-7247BN-P3590/?afmc=lg

  11. Yep, Warmer and more humidity... A box with an incandescent light bulb will do the trick. You don't need to heat the whole area.
