Being it’s the holiday season, I thought in the spirit of giving, we all could share our knowledge with one important piece of advice or something you would have told your younger self that would have saved you a lot of time and trouble. For me, I would have told myself to focus on function, not form, looks and being anatomically correct doesn’t matter, just get it to work. Thank you! Yes, I apply a coat or 2 of epoxy and lightly sand with 400 before painting. It leaves a nice smooth finish to paint on and hides the edge lines if doing foil like these.1 point -

I used airbrush paint on some sunglasses and didn't seal it with anything. It wore off very quickly(granted, I gave them to my two year old...)!1 point

I just found this website through a search and it is really user friendly to use for creating or matching existing colors .
