  1. 262 med/hard. The 242 med is good but the 262 is firmer to handle hook keepers while still allowing appendages to move freely.

  2. The shank isn’t as long but Owner has a 30degree flat eye jig hook. 5103 is the number. Also Mustad 38108.

  3. I've used both as well and cannot really tell any difference. Couldn't really tell any difference in the smell. My shop smells like garlic so that's the only thing you smell.

  4. I have ran through 3 gal of the 242, the 262 med/hard, and 1 gal of the soft. No issues and takes reheating punishment well. I’ve tried several other company’s plastics but this one is my favorite.

  5. This is a color that I wish was around when I poured because it's deadly!! Looks to be 2 different laminate colors and possibly the flake is making it look orange/brown? I would start with a very light green pumpkin over a very light watermelon and add your flake from there. Hope I didn't screw you up too bad!! LOL

  6. I had the same question. Talked to them about it . They told me they work and act the same. So then I asked, why would you still make the HIGH odor mix then ???? They say it's because there is to many guys that will not change what they have been using (212 ) and are used to. I still wonder about it ? I have not tried the 242, but will the next time I buy.

  7. I found a bag of colored flat glass decorator "stones" my wife had out in the garage . I put a half dozen of ones just big enough to fit the opening of my gallon jug of plastisol for mixing before using . Works great and doesn't interact with the plastic and you can see them clearly on the bottom of the jug when mixed up .
