  1. It's weird because I'm seeing almost what you see. I am seeing brown pumpkin though. Maybe over a light watermelon. laminate. Orange flake, with black for color pop? However after looking at other baits, bigger ones, to get a better look at the color, what I am seeing is not so much a laminate, but the either brown pumpkin, and or light watermelon, coreshot into a clear shell. It could just be that the photos are lighted to make the other appearance shiny giving it the look of a core shot Can't really shoot a core shot if the mold isn't set up that way. In place of the brown pumpkin, olive might work but go easy with that one so you don't lose the translucence. Actually, I think there are a number of ways you might be able to achieve that color. But without turning you into a mad scientist we'll await your report on your results. Now you should be totally confused!

  3. I tried some of the 212 this evening and really liked it. Worked very well for me. 2 minute demold worked well and didn’t set up too quick. Good working times.

  4. Sometime ago I bought some junk at an auction . It had a rock tumbler base but nothing else . The base ran fine . So I transferred my plastic to a gallon glass jar . Then placed it on the tumbler . Goofed off a while, came back in about 30 minutes (probably longer than I needed) and it was mixed nicely .

  5. Yup Mrs. Tiderunner has those around too. I'll have to work out a deal with her. Those might work same as tossing my nuts in. Long term, I'm probably gonna order some wide mouth jugs and use a paint mixer for my drill.

  6. I just ordered the 2/0 and 3/0 vmc hooks and 3/0 and 4/0 of the victory hooks from Barlows. They seem to be the only place that Carrie’s them.

  7. That is what I was thinking. I will try the other hooks mentioned first. then decide if that’s the route I want to go with milling out the hook placement on the mold

  9. Appreciate the advice, I'll let you know how the next run turns out! Yep, great color. I've seen it bring in big bass in southern ponds and big walleye in clear northern lakes. Hard to beat!
