  2. Been pouring \ shooting a long time and never heard of this issue. I don't dip tubes so biggest batch is normally a fry daddy but have never seen it.

  3. Yes there are other medias you can try. Like mentioned brown lunch bags, Tyvek envelopes from the P.O (they're free), computer paper. vacuum bags (try different brands) and allergy pillow cases. There are many other porous things you can try that I'm sure you might have around the house.

  5. I personally think that would be a pain. Obviously you refer to open pours but I don't think it would really help you. The only thing that comes to my mind is to have the tail softer so will swim better while the body to be firmer. I think a mold made properly will allow the bait tail to swim no matter what plastic you'll use. Now if you fish for Pike or Muskie the hardness doesn't matter as they will get destroyed sooner than later.

  6. Applying injection pressure for a longer period of time will produce better results than the extenders. The extenders will add more hot plastic to the injection but you need to force it into cavities before it cools off to much to flow. Denting is caused by cooling at the cavity gate. It cools before the main cavity does. You have to force the hot plastic in as it cools.

  8. $10 for 50..... You want B size "L" large.... Size "XL" is the full size you see the big brands use.... "L" is perfect for 1/8-1/4 oz and 3/0 hooks. https://www.ebay.com/itm/134257018314?var=433710217649

  9. Some powders will fluidize better than others. Depends on what company makes it along with the powder itself. White seems to be a problematic color as it is heavier then most colors. Fluid bed media plays another important role along with the fact if there is any moisture in the powder. I have 6 fluid cups with several different medias for 6 of the most common colors I use. Picking the right media is done by trial and error. I try not to use CSI powders because they all don't fluidize, so I have a company that I buy my powder from. The only thing is you have to buy 50 lbs at a time, which is more than most people would use in a lifetime. As far as using a air compressor, I don't think that will solve your problem. What I believe will happen, is that you will just have bigger volcanoes and more of a mess. You can try it and see what happens, then let us know. You can also try a small vibrator attached to the cup or under the cup to move the powder around along with the air pump. I am certain that you need to look at different media for your other colors which may help solve your problem. JMO.

  13. Dead on is fine if you have a vacuum chamber. I've started using MF Easy Stretch sinking. A few dollars more. but well worth it. You can always soften or harden as you go. For stickbaits I use MF sinking soft. Medium for Worms grubs, and usually add softener. But little by little switching everything over to the Easy Stretch for everything. I've tried a bunch of different brands, and MF works best for me. If I were to choose a second, I'd say Bait Plastics.
