try a different UV Resin, Not all UV Resin are the same....I have never had the issue you're having and I use foil tape on lures. Hard type UV Resin is what I use.1 point

I never did like aluminum tape for lures, too thick and chunky. I prefer nail transfer foil it's much thinner and it's designed to take top coat.1 point

While I e never physically seen this bait color, trying to go by photos I see every shade from straight light watermelon to brown pumpkin.Maybe what I’m seeing as brown pumpkin could be that amber coloring as alsworms stated. In some of the pics of the baits the color reminds me of Berkley camo. How about posting a pic of your finished bait?1 point
