  7. I would of used a polyurethane glue thats activated by spraying water on the glue like redg8r suggests
  8. I´ve made lures in both aspen &birch both holds screweyes well and as you say its up to the sealer/basecoat to do the job .
  9. nailpolish remover contains oil so thinning epoxy with it is a nono
  10. You could try this! Dip the lip in Virgin Laquer Thinner let dry & see if it clears up
  11. You could punch out some round discs in thin lexan drill center ,cup it using a rounded dowel &heatgun ,glue in a piece of the shaft from a Topz used to clean babies ears & used for makeup .Dont make the "stem" longer than 1/4"

    Jeep check your local paintshop for acetone& virgin laquer thinner or go to any autoshop that sells paint they have it . Even some hardwarestores have it

    I use same plastic thats used on Rapala lures & many other finnish& other European commercial &hobby lures ,works as a charm for me .You can dip ,spray &brush it on .Do a search on Propionate here in the hardbait forum .I also use lips in same material so only glue i need is the sealer ,dip lip in sealer put in place & its ready to tune,testswim in 10 minutes. I usually buy in bulk so let me know if you need some both lips & sealer Sealer comes in pelletsform that you disolve in Thinner or Acetone
  19. Theres more than plenty of good painters on here .But i guess the best has a turn around time with 6 weeks or more .
