    Boo...That was REALLY bad Pete..lol..Nathan
  2. I maybe way off base here...But Cadman said he had poured epoxy and it worked well but wouldn't release ....I've made blades and spoons from epoxy using silly putty as my mold material...Epoxy won't stick to silly putty...Nathan
  3. Mr.Noon, No body is holding a gun to your head keeping you here..You can leave the same way you came in..Nathan
  4. You can soak your bait in any of the concrete sealers discussed for about 3-5 minutes. Let hang for 24-48 hrs to dry and your good to go..Nathan
  5. Zev, You may want to give the company a call and speak to one of there techs..They are nice people to deal with and very helpful....Nathan
  6. Well moon your off to a good start for your first post. If we allowed everybody to post their " look what I made" pictures here there wouldn't be much room left for discussing how to make lures... That's what the Gallery was made for.Like it says in the rules, if your picture lends something to the discussion by all means post it...but the simple " See what I made" isn't allowed here.It has been that way since 2003 when this forum started...Nathan
  7. Interesting ...Thanks Salty...Nathan

Saddle hackle is what your looking for.It can be purchased strung or loose from fly shops. The quality of the feathers and the colors available are really good.....Nathan

    Long Hair

There are a lot of synthetic materials you can use that are longer than bucktail... and a few natural ones such as yak hair. All come in a multitude of colors.Just check some of the online fly tying retailers ..Nathan
  11. Mark, Aren't you glad it wasn't that new 90.00 stuff you did that too?..lol..Nathan

    Rolling Lure

Spec, I prefer to use 2 larger hooks instead of 3 smaller ones..but that is just a personal thing..I hate fighting a third hook when trying to unhook a fish... Frogaddict, The ballast to stand the bait up is located in the belly of the bait under where the hook hanger is...The rest of the weight is along the side of the bait...Nathan

  14. There is a seperate thread for this stuff and I believe Mark has the addi posted there...Nathan
  15. I got my news Jann's Netcraft catalog a few days ago and I noticed they have a cotter pin they are selling for a line tie or hook hangers. It is .040 diam. Annealed Stainless 1 3/8" long...2 questions...What does annealed mean? and how do you think these would work to connect jointed baits?..Nathan
  16. I personally haven't tried AC1315 but the solids in it are much higher than GST which should give you a tougher top coat...Nathan
  17. Gino..lol..I know what you mean..I live in a state of constant confusion!!...I bet the AC1315 will work very well..They are both concrete sealers..The AC1315 contains more solids..Nathan
  18. Gino, GST is very thin.I use it to seal my baits.I let them soak approx. 3-5 minutes for a seal.I would think 30 minutes would be the max. for what your doing. You may want to consider trying that new concrete sealer they are talking about (AC1315..I think) there are more solids in it...Nathan
  19. We love seeing your creations but the photo's should be put in the gallery...Nathan
  20. Your right Ben..it is the best place..only because of all the information given from all you talented guys!..Nathan
  21. Ben, That post is definitely a blast from the past..but contains some great info...Riverman ( Jed) was still just building floats back then..lol..Nathan
