  1. Ok guys...I've been playing around with their wicked paints and I like them.In the past I've used there regular " shirt" paints and have a large bottle of the opaque white that I sometimes use as a base coat....I'm " Frugal"....and really don 't want to waste the bottle of white..can I paint wicked colors over the regular createx?...Nathan
  2. Nice looking Mark!..Nathan

    Rolling Lure

Until you get the hang of things..I'd use a simple eye screw to eye screw joint to start with. After you understand what your doing you can change it if you want..Nathan

    Rolling Lure

Like I said before..weight placement can have a huge effect on a baits action..You may want to try placing some weight a bit higher on your bait...Nathan

    Rolling Lure

This is my Dying Trout....your weight placement can have a huge effect on how your bait acts...I would mess with that instead of mounting a bill in off kilter...Lead..Not just for ballast anymore..lol..Nathan

    Alumi-Uv

I believe this stuff is suppose to have a high gloss finish and is suppose to be able to be cured with a wide varity of UV lights..but it is very pricey!!..Nathan
  8. I've used other brands of concrete sealers to seal wooden baits and it works great.Let the baits soak for about 3-4 minutes and hang to dry for 2-3 days...Nathan
  9. Squirrel & Mark, Clear plastic dip is also avaible in a spray on form...the dippable stuff does work well on jig heads though!!..Nathan
  10. Just spray the plastic coat on and hang it..It dries very fast so there is no need to rotate it...It is some tough stuff...Nathan
  11. I know nothing about them.. or how they work...I've just seen them...but would a biscuit cutter work?...Nathan
  12. Roadkill, You may want to post this under the wire baits forum..you may have more luck..Nathan
  13. Beautiful work Ken..and Thank you for your service...Nathan
  14. If they lock you up for doing this..I'll smuggle a hack saw blade in to you inside a Suick..They'll never suspect!!!..Nathan
  15. I've cut small diving bills for small crankbaits from milk jugs..They work well for that ...Nathan
  16. Every body have a safe Happy Thanksgiving!!..Nathan

  19. That is a great idea John..and looks killer!!..Nathan
  20. I would recommend using clear water slide decal paper for your decals. If you use clear it will allow the background color to show through. You cold use a silver color then add silver glitter on top of the paint.Decal over it and the paint/glitter will show through. As for a"complete" decal job.. I don't think it's possible. You will have seams on the top and bottom of the bait where the two decals meet.most put there decals on.Apply a top coat so they have a smooth surface to paint on..shoot your color on the top and bottom then apply your final top coat .BTW..if you use the glitter method I mentioned...Your top coat really brings the glitter too life..Nathan
  21. Epoxy your eye screws in and they won't pull out.If you move that front hook back a bit it won't catch on the bill and it will fill that gap a bit from removing that middle hook...Nathan
