Somebody else here mentioned that after applying Solrez and curing it they give it a single dip in one of the concrete sealers to give it a shine...Nathan
You really need to spend some time using the search function on our site here. You'll find hours of information to read on swimbait building.Your question as is,is very vague and we need some details before we can even begin to give any guidance ...Nathan
Definatley don't use 5 minute epoxie..There are numerous others you can use instead. Some people swear by Solrez..some swear at it!!!...If you use the search function of this site and enter Solarez..and Epoxie top coats you find hours of reading!!!...Nathan
Bruce,
For me it just works better applying it seperate..Maybe you want a green glitter on the back and silver on the sides you can do it..Plus if you use the ultra fine glitter you can apply it with your air brush.....Nathan
I guess I'm not sure what your question is...Does he mix the glitter with his epoxy?..If so you can mix the glitter with a little polyacrilic and brush it on.When dry you can apply your top coat .I much prefer this method over mixing glitter in my top coat..Nathan
Thanks Ben,
I 've played around with Frogs on and off for years but would get frustrated with getting them to land correctly with weighting..etc..Then this topic came up and got me thinking ( easier said than done these days!!) and it hit me...Fish only see the bottom of frogs on the surface..just put two bottoms on it!!!..problem solved...I think!!...It's -1 right now ...I'll have to get back to you on hook up ratio..etc..lol..Nathan
Mark,
The body is PVC and is approx. 3"
Frogaddict,
Nice buzz frog!!..
It's amazing how many directions a simple top water frog bait can take you..Imagine if we would have made a subsurface cranking version!!..lol...Nathan
Here is what I call my topless frog...no matter how it lands..it's right..Free swinging Owner hooks are weedless in the grub tails..It can be used as a buzz frog or walk the dog with it..Can't wait for the weather to warm !!!..Nathan
I can tell you that Plastic Dip is tough..tough stuff. You get a Matt finish with it ( all finishes look the same underwater) and it has a rubbery feel to it...A couple thin coats of the clear spray and you are ready to go...Nathan
