    Frogs

I 'be played around with this on and off for a few years...but if you google Tube flies .. Then google tube fly supplies you'll get the just of where I'm going with this design.Excuse the poor sketch but it will give you a good Idea of what I 'm talking about. You feed the line through the tubbing out the back..tie on the hook then the hook is anchored to the stiff tubing with soft aquirum tubing... You will need to weight the bottom of the bait considerably so it turns over in the air and lands correctly.A nice thing about this design is when you hook the fish the bait slides up you line and away from the hook..also.. If you snag..just brake off the hook.. Retrieve your lure and re - tie with a new hook...Nathan

  20. Mark, Because the sealer goes a deeper into the wood...Should I have a toothy critter get a tooth through the top coat I've got the wood sealed a little deeper under it. Plus, the Solarez lays a little smoother over it...It's probably over kill but when submerging dried wood in water I need all the help I can get..lol..Nathan
  21. I've been playing around with Gst concrete sealer as my wood sealer and so far I'm impressed.I 'm sure Eagle Supreme would work equally aswell. These are fairly thin products so you get good penetration. I submerge the bait in the product for a couple minutes then hang to dry for at least 24 hrs.I then give them a coat of Solrez put then on a wheel to level then hit with a light..then off to painting ...Nathan
  22. I hear you Ben,... If I list what I've done right, the list is much shorter..lol...Nathan
