Hey guys.. It's hard to believe how fast time flies..It's time to start planning the get together for this year!!! The date this year is Thurs. April 29- Sun. May 2nd. April 29th. through May 2nd. If you use straight cut zonker strips,The hair will stick out at a 90 degree angel when wrapped.The cross cuts lay back over themselves at about a 45 degree angel.The cross cuts look better when your done,but the straight cuts give you a larger profile..Nathan

There are several models of bandsaws out there that would fit your 100.00 budget..You should really reconsider.Like BobP said, cutting Balsa isn't and big deal,but you may want to try another type wood..If you do,you'll be kicking yourself for not buying the Bandsaw..Nathan

If your making top water baits,weight maybe a issue...a lighter method of fixing the pin holes is to dip it in Polyacrilic (Minwax makes a good one)It will take 2-3 dips but that should seal the holes for you..Nathan

I also have a Aztec,and really like it.Not all of them are built from plastic...just depends on which model you get..I spent about 120.00 on mine and am REALLY PLEASED..Nathan
