  10. Cadman, You and the Mrs. are more than welcome!!..The fishing we do is all from shore..as far as a license goes..yes it is required, but that is up too you about buying one....the area we fish is on private property. You can get a 3 day license for pretty cheap. Most guys bring some lures too trade..that is strictly up to you,but I guarantee, you'll leave with some of the finest baits ever made!!! If you have a certain thing you'd like too demonstrate we'd love too see it..You'll learn a bunch from "Show &Tell time"!!..Nathan

Yankee, you and your wife are more than welcome!!As for what too bring....don't worry about tools I've got that covered..just bring what you'd like too show and tell with!! 17. Your glitter issues are easy...just mixt a little glitter with a little bit of poly-acrilic (spelling..)just brush on the glitter...your actually able to add different color glitters too different parts of the bait this way..(green glitter too high lite the back, and orange glitter for the sides and belly..etc..)the acrilic is water based and dries clear in about 20 minutes..then your ready for your top coat..Nathan
  18. Vodkaman is right, what size baits do you build?.Do you build for Muskie/Pike or bass size baits?..That way I know what too recommend..Nathan
  19. I agree..I'd trade it off for what you want...It would be alot easier to make a slow sinker out of a floater than too try what you suggested..Nathan
  20. Zak, You can find it at most hardware stores..Besure you measure out equal amounts and stir well..It isn't as forging as Devcon in these areas..Nathan
  21. The tubes you are talking about are used in fly fishing in a type of fly called a tube fly......do a search in fly tying supplies and you should find a supplier....Nathan
  22. Great job Zak!! You've learned one draw back too devcon..it is so hard it's brittle, and can crack easy...another draw back too it is that it is heavy...you apply too many coats too a small bait it can really kill the action...You have 3 choices on how too fix the bait.. 1. Remove the damaged devcon and patch only those area's with more devcon..(you'd be adding the least weight this way..) 2.Leave the cracked areas and devcon over the whole bait..the new coat should reinforce the damaged area..(you'll be adding additional weight with this fix..) 3.Remove the damaged area like in Choice # 1 and recoat the WHOLE bait.(Your top coat won't be smooth..but I don't think the fish will care..and you'll be adding additional weight with the top coat..)..Nathan
  23. Nothing else too say but..WOW:worship:...Well done Jed!!..Nathan
  24. Basshunter, I don't know what program your refering too but there is no reason you couldn't use it on lures..Nathan
  25. Water slide decals is what you want..Just besure too get the paper with the clear background and for ink jet printers.Also..after you transfer your design too the paper you'll have too spray a couple light coats of a sealer over the paper too seal the ink...a clear lacquer or enamel or acrylic out of a rattle can will work just fine. you'll need some type of protective coat over the decal after it's applied aswell....Nathan
