Nate, I've played around with placing the diving bill towards the tail of the bait.It does change how the bait swims....it's the tail moving,and pushing the head,instead of the head moving pulling the tail.The farther back you put the bill.the shallower the bait will dive.I even tried putting a bill on the very back of the bait at a 90 degree,and ran my rear eye screw through it.It made a interesting waking bait with all the action in the back. The problem you run into is the hooks catching on the bill,or the bill reducing your hook up ratio....some day I'll play around with this again..I really think there are some good options..Nathan

Hey Guys, Been working on a new series of baits called the "Real Fish" series.The two pictured are proto-types.I already have plans for making the tail more realistic by photo-finishing the tail.This may be a challenge because the tail is very soft,and pliable...I've got a good Idea on how to pull it off. The next 2 lures I have planned for the series are a Threadfin shad,and a Golden shiner.If I can find a good picture of a Clear lake Hitch,I'll add that one too..Nathan

Thats 10% of the cost you sell them for...if you sell a lure wholesale for 10.00 it's 1.00 if you sell it direct to a customer it for 12.00...it's a 1.20

If you spend alot of time standing..you may want to invest in some good heavy rubber mats to stand on too.That may relieve some of the pressure on your back....a cement floor doesn't have much "give"..Nathan

It's a decent book..it gives you some very basic info. on all forms of tackle making,and repair.There is very little detail given,but if your new at tackle making,it's worth it..Nathan

Thanks for all the support guys,I really appreciate it.My neighbor was able to provide a excellent decription of the suspects truck to the sherriff's office.They called me yesterday,and know who the suspect is....just a matter of finding him!!...My wife and I went shopping yesterday,and were able to replace most of what was taken,and the rest is reorderd......Again thanks for everything guys...it meant alot to me..Nathan
