  1. I set mine up a little different...I only used one treble in the head of the bait.I didn't have to worry about pressure on the joints from a rear treble hook-up. It worked great, and I didn't seem to lose any fish because of only one treble. These are REALLY time consuming to make..but alot of fun.I made my first one about 3 years ago before the Live pointer ever came out..Nathan
  2. I played around with something like those, and used 80lb spider wire..it worked pretty good..Nathan
  3. I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.Anyone traveling through Missouri today..becareful...It's snowing with 35 mph winds!!..Nathan

  6. Hey Tim, The main store in Springfield is 90 miles south of me,and I have a Cabelas in Kansas City 90 North of me......My wife gets really worried when I get that wild look in my eyes when we are heading to one of them!!!....If you fish that tourney at Table Rock, you won't be far from the main store!!!..Nathan
  7. Hey Guys....I don't know if the sport show is in the works..(no one will return a phone call...I REALLY must of hacked them off!!)..but the last date given was aptil 30th & 31st...here is my proposal...I'd love to host a TU get together. We will just leave it that weekend just in case the show happens....I've got a pond full of Catfish, and bluegill for a fish fry,and a big shop for us to play in.I've got some farm ponds we can go too that should be hot that time of year.....Let me know what you think, and if your interested,I can post hotel #..etc..Nathan
  8. Grunt, Welcome to the site...I own a couple craftsman lathes, and have been pleased with them. The directions for the use of the duplicator aren't the best, but you can figure it out my messing around with it..Nathan
  9. Go too: www.micromark.com I'd recommend the clear background type.Besure to get the paper that is correct for your printer.Their phone is: 1-800-225-1066 ask for a catalog. They have a ton of stuff that is useful for lure building...Nathan

  11. Welcome aboard Hilton...This is a great place to hang out.Great job on the lure...Nathan
  12. No problem Tally....good info. and site...they use to have a forum.Your right about the crawdads....half the fun of fishing with dads was catching them....it's to bad as adults we forget that stuff..Nathan
  13. read that article I referenced in your last post..It should help..Nathan

  15. Hey Soup, I'm with cheesehead on this...you could try some acetone, but it will probabley destroy the plastic bodies....try drilling a hole, and inserting the bb's...Nathan
  16. Great job Ken!!!!..I know a few guys that could use one of those!!!!..Nathan
  17. Hey Merc. good too see you back!!..Nathan
  18. Congrats, Jerry!!!!!! Beautiful little boy...another one to take fishing....Nathan
  19. Jed, The guys are right..It's vurtually impossible to build a bait that these critters couldn't tear up the finish, and paint..(unless of course it was built from steel, and I still wouldn't bet on it!!). If you look in the boxes of seasoned Muskie, and Pike hunters you'll notice their "go too" baits are torn all to he--. I know as a Muskie fisherman my lures are going to get torn up..as a lure builder, thats a hard pill to swallow..Nathan
  20. Jed, I set all my eye screws in Devcon, and had no problems. It's just those #@$%^$# toothy critters causing your problems!!!..Nathan
  21. Jed, I don't think water getting in is your problem....I don't care what you use to cover a bait made for Muskie or Pike...Your going to get chips, and cracks in your finish.Unless you've caught some of these fish, you can't believe the damage their dental work can cause. You need to find out if the finish started flaking away at the puncture points...Nathan
  22. Great job as usual Trick.....Where have you been Hiding?..Nathan
  23. I'm with Skeeter..I think it will work just fine. The bait your building is similiar to my Flat Jack...I've had no problems..Nathan
  24. ..LOL!!!LOL!!!!...You soft plastic guys!!!...You guys need to open some windows and get some fresh air!!!!...I was laughing my butt off on those last posts!!..Nathan
  25. Good luck Basskat!!..Nathan
