I like the Diiachi Bleeding bait hooks...seem to be very sharp,and I haven't had any complaints.The red hook gives your bait a little different look aswell..Nathan

Have you tried heating the mold with the wood in it?...Or heating the wood before placing it in the mold?It sounds like the problem is caused by the hot plastic hitting the cold wood.....Nathan

I use a belt sander,then finish up with sand paper,and some elbow grease.I was speaking on the phone with one of the guys from here regarding a way to sand several lures at one time...He recommended trying a brass cleaner(a viberating tumbler system used to clean gun brass)I've got a catalog orderd that has these.I figure I can use a belt sander to get the rough shape,then throw them in the tumbler with a sanding agent to finish them up..Nathan

Skeeters right on the mixing......If you were scraping the bottom of your cup when applying the epoxy,the bottom doesn't always mix aswell with out some help.You'll have to apply a second coat to fix the problem..Nathan

Great idea Coley.....also, besure to use a paper towel and squeeze of the excess eppoxy in the bristles before you put it in the acetone...Nathan
