  6. Hey guys.....Heads up!!! I received a email from what I thought was paypal regarding my account. It said due to security reasons they were up dating their files.I clicked on the link provided, and it asked for me to update my debt card info. All looked normal(looked like I was in a paypal page)but one of the questions was what was the numbers on the back of my debt card.....That set off a red flag!!..I called paypal and they said this was not their email.Fortunatley,I hadn't entered any info. If you guys got a similiar email, contact paypal before doing anything!!..Nathan

  8. Hi Guys, I don't get down here very often....Does anyone know if anyone makes crawtubes similiar to the Mad man versions out of the new cyber-flex material?...I need them for a new hybrid crankbait I'm working on....Thanks..Nathan
  9. Jed, Stamina has .092 diam. stainless eye screws, and has a good selection of 3x split rings.....Also,check out there VMC big game hooks, there are tough, and very sharp.... I get mine there all the time..Nathan
  10. Beautiful bait...It takes as much practice to get good with a can as it does with air brush!!..Nathan
  11. Like fishchris said, they are easy to adjust and alter the action, and if you fish around alot of riprap, they hold up very well bouncing off rocks..Nathan
  12. I read something about this a while back...Lures have a signature(or feeling they give off)as they move through the water. The thought was that bass a being pressured and not responding to all the known signatures coming through the water. The grooves in the bait change the signature,so the bass respond better.I don't know if it works or not...But,I do think thats why the baits we build work so much better!!!..Nathan
  13. Senko, Excuse me from butting in here, but if you go to drug stores, etc. that develope film they'll give you all the 35mm film canisters you want. They don't need them after the film is developed. That should work well for mailing glitter...Nathan
  14. Terry shoot me a email or pm with your address.I have some tinned VMC's you'll like..Nathan

    Glitter paint

Hi Guys, You can actually place different color glitters where you want them very easily.(I've written a tutorial on this,I've got to get the pictures shot and get it posted, but here is a abbreviated version)After you lure is painted the appropriate colors,.....Lets use a Fire Tiger pattern for the example...after the paint has dried, use a pencil and lightly draw in your marking for the black stripes......now with a fine point brush ,go over these marks with some Minwax poly-acrilic...besure to apply a very, very thin coat.Know place a paper towel down, and shake some fine black glitter over the wet acrilic, laet dry a few minutes, and tap the lure to knock loose the loose glitter....let dry completely, and coat with Devcon. This process really sets of the tiger stripes!!!!..Poly-acrilic is a great medium to mix glitter with(it has a milky color, but drys clear)Pour a little in a dixie cup, pour in the glitter, and paint on with a brush to the desired area.Paint on red glitter over red throat high-lites..etc...Nathan
  16. Hey George, Great post, and thanks for the link....I'm going to visit there more often...what do you think those flying fishing guys would think of my Rodent?....Nathan

    Staminia

I regulary use Stamina, but for certain products.Unfortunatley,no one company has everything in one catalog. Stamina has always done good by me,I'm guessing the delay on the order was due to items being out of stock. If you ask if the items orderd are in stock,(assuming you order by phone)they will check for you..Nathan
  20. Westy, Check with your local glass shops. The 1/8th in. is easy to find, the 1/16th may take a little looking. Offer to buy the scraps,it's a fraction of the cost, and you'll get some huge pieces for almost nothing...Nathan

  22. MB, Thats what this site is all about!!..Congrats. on the success on your first bait....but I must warn you.......you now have a addiction that has NO CURE!!!..Nathan
  23. Everyone have a happy safe 4th of July!!!...Nathan
  24. I guess I cast the odd vote here,I do make a little money on my lures. To be honest, that is not the driving force though.I get a real thrill from emails from angelers who have caught fish on my lures. My mom was always big on "making memories"...I guess in a round about way,I help in making that memory!!..Nathan
  25. I'm definatley going to have to try this......Beautiful lure!!..Nathan
