  1. Fires do suck. You are welcome to one of LAs Vegas' very own thunderstorms. Alls you need is 1 little cloud and they wash all the smut off the streets
  2. Thanks Maze, Just as you said he replaced the tip. I found someone here local that makes custom rods. Scarry site seeing someone put fire to the rod that you rely on. I use Hookhider rods and when he saw them he went to order some of the grips. He is going to put them on his customs. Thanks again for all your help.
  3. Nice molds guy's That raound mold Woodsac has with the lizard seems to be the same resin I use. I actually pour lead into these to make my "dummies" to recast my other molds. I have had only 1 crack from the lead heat. other than that no more fussing with the plastics floating etc. here is my inhaler mold and tonight I will take a picture of all my lead inhalers that Ipoured in this mold.

Hey skeeter, I been here for awhile but just saw all my go to guy's on that little file link over there. Motley was just the word at the time that my brain forced my fingers to write in response to my jealousy of there talents. As for the shoe etc. I will never be able to walk in those footsteps. Take care
  5. this is to test my picture file size reduction. woohoooooo no more bugging Jerry. These are from Paul, bigsplash and countrykat. Thanks guys

Is it just me just now seeing this or has it been there awhile. Who wouldnt want to join this site with such a motley bunch of baitmakers at the helm Keep up the good work.
  7. Maze, WOW, I would not touch my rods if my life depended on them. I need someone to blame if I lose a fish or screw up . I found a guy in town that will replace the ceramic ring in my tip. It chiped and seems to be cutting/abrasing the line. Thanks for the help, I checked out mudhole and am very impressed.
  8. One of my rods 7'6" telescoping flippin stick has a tip with an insert that seems to be made of a hard plastic and is starting to wear with the line (maybe to many hook sets?) It seems to be causing abrasions in my line. What would or how would I fix this?

    Horny Frogs

Well, my team partner and I blew through central California and I am sad to say never hooked up to rummage through Al's Worms, sorry Chris. We did a round trip to pick up my partners boat but when we got there we had a few hours to kill to let the glass cure. We were sent to this River in modesto to cast some lines. My partner was throwing a scum frog and you would not beleive the agressivness of these giant bull frogs. Here is a picture of a bull frog either trying to eat it or well you know what.
  10. Here are some of what I got and they look great see pictures in gallery as I can not reduce them here. I wanted to wait for them all but 1 I wanted to take them with me to Chris' and 2 my wife wanted them off her dinning room table.
  11. You see, when I first started I was all about molding worms. You sent me envelopes of stuff and instructed me how to make a pretty worm See you Tomorrow. All you Nathens out there, I am not sure which one of you makes those hot dogs, but Yum.
  12. Guy's I just got a lot of baits from Fatratz. I was just trying to get a few but I am officially good for ever as long as I dont lose these. If you have not seen Ratz spinnerbaits yet I susggest you get over there. The Blue Shad is absolutely beutiful in a pool. Thanks Ratz
  13. Yes, Next week I am heading to central California and will be spending a day with Chris on the water. My team partner and I will be rumaging through every nook and cranny at Al's Worms if at all possible.I will have the camera so look for the pictures next week. I will also be taking some of my new arriving daily baits to try. Tim

    WOW Coley

Very nice Spinnerbaits and Buzz, I cant wait. Thank you. How long you been doing these 20-30 years
  15. Paul, Did they stop the scents I sent you? Do they even look at the stuff I ship you for that matter. Read my email.
  16. Celt, that seeker shad was dear to my heart. Somewhere I have a pic of a 4lbr during prefish at Lake Mojave. Al, dont you worry, around August 11th I will be in your supply hut personally . We also need a 1 day guide trip on the delta and we will buy the gas but by god satifaction guaranteed or we want our money back. Tim
  17. I want to thank you all for the overwhelming response. Seems I will be making quite a few return care packages. Like my own little swap . Anyway to make things easier colors and sizes I like are small around 1/4 and Whites Blues and Grays are best. Also I want to apologize to FatRatz where ever he is, his name should have been mentioned above. I had 4 of his baits in my bag and If you have saw his baits well they were good. Also who made the seeker shad????????? I got rather fond of that bait. Now I am taking advantage
  18. Natha, I had a matzuo lure with the "bleeding hooks" from Icast a few years back. Not sure what brand they were but they seemd to hold true. I have some red #4 nose hooks and I know what you mean about the gold. Tim
  19. Thanks for all the replies. You all know that 98% of what was in that bag is not for sale and most of them I could never pit a price on. best of all they all caught fish. Piddler, I guess you can say I am a very very very very very very lucky man. My wife is my sponsor, she pays all my entry fees. ( she is the administrator to very succesfull plastic surgery center and in Las Vegas, yep, BANK) Now if she would buy me that bass boat that I wish to nickname, "LYPOSUCTION" . All you you are in will be greatly rewarded with weights and baits. make sure you put your return address. Tim A Myers 689 Forest Haven Way Henderson, NV 89015 ps. Chris over at Al's has some lizard molds and pours some awesome colors. Send him the cash for them (plug for you chris start selling them)
  20. my link above did not work here is the right one http://www.buyplasticbagsdirect.com/protectgo.html
  21. Help, Now I know to some this may sound like a ploy but those who know me know I wouldnt pull such a stunt. In June while fishing a team tournament on Lake Havasu I lost an entire soft bag holding all my spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. Inside was maybe 2 bought terminators and 40+ rest were all purchased or donated or given to me by tacklemaking/tackleunderground members. (wipe tear here) Anyhow in 35 days is the US Open and I have 1, 4 blade spinner bait and 1, hart 4 blade buzzbait to my name. Yes Celt, Pa, Paul and there are more of you, all gone. I have no paypal money so I am seeking Charitable contributions. If you can help email me chirmy@aol.com. Oh yeah, The US Open is the richest tournament in the west and if I win you will get the notoriety
  22. www.buyplasticbags.com They do fine for me.
  23. Green in green pumpkin by far is the best. I have yet to master any others but the amber with orange souonds like a cool color. Did you know crawfish had blue claws this time of year?
  24. Bythe way, does anyone remeber the guy looking for funding on tacklemaking to peomote his lure at icast and who he is or what his product was?
  25. Sorry Jerry, I didnt mean to sound like I needed the Whambulance. Its just funny to see spinner bait on that post above that looked like pa's from over a year back. And for all I know some of the stuff I have seen that looks like others for all I know could have been there idea they sold etc... I was just letting people know to be careful. As for uploading the pics, I dont know how or where to to reduce them. When I send an email with a pic it has a dummy button and asks if I want to resize it. Hint Hint Hint. (I need a dummy button) Tim
