I was discussing this last night in correspondence with Chris Over at AL's worms. Seems not only the Boards were being ignored by my but so was my backyard bait shed. This weekend I was cleaning it out and everywhere I looked I saw signs of Chris and his generosity over the years. Today I sent him a care package. As for my departure the last 2 months I find out at 38 years old my heart wants to be 88. Disability and fishing here I come

I will get you the name, I bought 4 of them off ebay with 500 trailers awhile back, although I lost three of the 4 the 4th is in my shed in the package. they are cool each blade moves in a different direction and they retrieve extremely slow compared to norma baits.

Judging by some of the products, I would strongly recomend in the future that if you put pictures of your product on this or any other forum you plan on it being ripped off. I can tell you that 2 of the products recently out were knock offs of 2 of my compadres from tacklemaking. Both by big name companies. You know when your buddies are back yard bait makers who had a design over a year ago and now this year all of a sudden it is being done by the big boy's. An example is the Heart Thumper on the above link. Pabass sent me some prototype spinnerbaits with the rubber band expansions and the article Eric did on it with the picture I sent in is proof.

I asked Al's Worms to custom make me some of his chunks and alsenko's prior to the last tournament i fished. I may be shooting myself in the foot here but I gave him my girly color recipe and asked for some of the 2 aboved baits in my color. I asked to pay and he said just win. Well I won, and most of the fish that I said came on My bait, well they were actually Al's. So in reality We won. Thanks Al, Send me your adress so I can send you a 5 cavity Lizard mold.

Stripers really tear them up. So do Large mouth but who cares when they are 8-10lbs. I sold the 5 I had on Ebay but will have more next week. In fact the ones next week Byron Velvick will be Tuning up so they are tournament ready. Tim

I see alot of talk about Swimbaits and managed to put a few on Ebay. One I screwed up and put for .99 so you guys may get lucky and get one for super cheap.

I see alot of talk about swimbaits and how expensive they are. I just added 5 Osprey lures to Ebay. One I put for .99. Maybe some of you can get it for cheap and see what the hype is about. They are a huge chunk of plastic.

Chris, I would never replace salt and I beleive the salt is still heavier. I bought turqoise wax dye before and it made the bait different. its cheap stuff and you can get it at michaels.

Nathan, If they are the Flure or the Flig let me know. I would be happy to post pictures. Your Flure is a Swank and your Flig well lets just say awesome. I had posted a forum about them but the forum had disappeared. In fact I called you a Swanker.

Hey, since you are talking swimbaits, I have some on EBAY. Now as for clear water with over 30' visibility, I would drop down to a 6lb Vanish or pline. I would drop shot a 4-6 inch worm. Anything with redflake this time of year. Also a Salt and Pepper small Yamamoto spider grub on a 1/4 ounce jig head. Make sure the jig has plenty of time to fall in deeper water. As for the swimbaits, They troll them for stipers and cast them for bass. I am going to try to get Byron Velvick to post a How to on Swimbaits in the next week or two. Tim

I agree Nathan. I have a few of his zebra skirts and a seeker shad. I showed some to some friends and they went ape over them. I like to hold them and just feel the skirts, awesome material. Tim

The candle dye also changes the density of your worm. It makes them heavier.

I managed to obtain a couple hundred mini glass rattles. Does anyone use these in their pours? How effective are they? and where is the best place to insert them. Tim
