  1. Heard of cherry seed, but not black cherry. Zoom makes a blackberry, which is just black with purple flake. Do you know who makes it......or could you post a pic?
  2. I would add black or white (or pearl) colors. Those were a MUST for me, but that looks like a hefty enough of a first order. LOL.. Maybe in time.
  3. I was assuming the mold was okay and he just wanted to get rid of the dull look.........which is a common problem with silicone molds. I never had any problems using worm oil in those molds. Just a thin layer will work and needs to be repeated after every half dozen pours or so.
  4. I think in most cases......yes. Seems that all of Lure Craft and MF scents are worm oil with scent added. Scents like Pro Cure and Upper Hand are their own mixtures. Anyone in the "know," please correct me if I'm wrong.
  5. Both of them work on my end? http://www.lurecraft.com/ http://www.del-mart.com/cart/home.php
  6. I used a Q-tip to evenly distribute the worm oil in the cavity........sometimes just my finger if I was lazy. lol
  7. 1) Depends on what color you're using. I had the same problem with those 2 colors until switching to a non-bleed colorant. 2) Bear has been having health issues and is way behind on orders and such. Oops....second glance and had him confused with BTS. Not sure about Bear.
  8. Thinking the same thing. I did some craws that had salt in just the body and the salt-less claws would float, but I'm not sure about half the bait?
  9. Ditto on the worm oil, but it needs to be done again after a few pours.
  10. Looking at the molds, that's exactly what I was afraid of. Years ago, I bought some similar looking molds on Ebay and had the same problem.
  11. If you do decide to purchase, I'm sure many members would love to hear how they work out for you.
  12. Unfortunately, that seems about right.
  13. Almost put my foot in my mouth. Was gonna say most custom aluminum injection molds are super expensive, but these prices seem reasonable........provided the molds hold up.
  14. Ahh makes sense. Thanks, Frank. I messed around with floating bubbles for a bit, but they didn't work out for me.
  15. I bought some senko knock-offs from a guy on Ebay a couple years ago who swore they had glass beads in them. He even advertised them as such, but they didn't sink at all. I was sure either the dude didn't put them in or glass beads didn't work. If they work for you, I'm sure he just forgot to add them. I'll have to give 'em a second chance.
  16. There were many MF colors that I loved, but watermelon wasn't one of them. I used Lure Craft. That might change the outcome, but yeah.......as mentioned, salt it the culprit here as it will change the look of ANY color. I think you'll have to play around with it until you find what works best for YOU. Hats off, though, for using salt as a new pourer. I probably poured for 2 years before adding salt. lol
  17. As stated earlier, shipping fees are a big issue for you, so other members talked about it. I don't see a problem there? At any rate, I hope you find the silver you're looking for, and if it has to be shipped, they ship it at a price that's suitable for you
  18. Sorry.....don't have any bait pics on my new computer and haven't poured in a few years. Might be worth a shot to buy a 2 ounce bottle from MF and see how you like it.
  19. Yeah I'm sure it was Zep, but that was several years ago. Could be discontinued. Here's one that looks to be a generic formula. https://www.sancoind.com/store/en/no-foam
  20. I always found that Zoom's watermelon was much like MF's watermelon brown.
  21. I tried a couple brands that foamed like that and eventually went back to MF. If you want to stay with your current brand, I have a resolution, although it sounds crazy. Go to Home Depot and get Zep brand no foam. I believe it comes in like an 8 to 10 ounce jug, and it's actually intended to be used in carpet cleaners. If memory serves me right, I used a couple cap fulls in a gallon of plastic. Solved the problem, and didn't effect the plastisol in any way. btw.....that problem drove me nuts until I discovered that! Good luck
  22. If this is the Lake of the Pines in CA, a friend of mine fishes it once in awhile and does well with morning dawn and light root beer colors for soft plastics, and shad imitation hard baits. Unfortunately, can't help with hot spots though. I believe it's a very rocky lake and this should be an ideal time of year to fish it. With the weather warming up, fish should be moving to more shallow water. Try 6 to 8 feet with those baits and I'll bet you score some fish. Good luck!
  23. Well Ray.......I feel like a complete idiot here. I had so many of those molds, you'd think I would remember the number! I'm not positive, but I believe it's 5X078. Here is the link...... http://www.lurecraft.com/Plastic-Mold-078/productinfo/5X078/ Pretty hard to tell because the pics are so small. You might try contacting Kim with the above pic........just to make sure.
  24. I believe that's the basic 5 3/4. If you're looking for an open pour, Lure Craft carries them.
