  1. Well third time's a charm. I got to thinking about the 97 cents for the filament to make the frog and it just didn't seem right. The 97 cents was the amount the printing program came up with BUT, it took 7 meters of filament to print the frog. There is 400 meters on one roll of filament (1KG) which cost $20. So, that means I could print 57 frogs on one spool. $20 divided by 57 = .35 each. Sorry for all of the screw ups. I just thought the program was right but it must use a different cost on the filament. So total cost to print the frog is definitely 35 cents.
  2. That is just the cost to print lure. This is not for production use. More for prototyping.
  3. Well I made a mistake. Cost is $.97 for entire frog. See stats in upper left hand corner. Its hard to see but Build time: 1 hour 59 minutes Filament length: 6999.7 mm Plastic weight: 21.05 g (0.05 lb) Material cost: 0.97
  4. Cost of filament to print entire frog was $.77. Flashforge Creator Pro
  5. I looked at that program and it looks like more of a mechanical program for designing structural items like tools, parts, molds, ect. You might want to look into a modeling program like meshmixer. Its free also. It is what I used to make the frog above.
  6. Jonister, what cad program are you using?
  7. Here is a plopper tail frog I've been working on. Its a thru wire setup where the wire runs from nose to tail.
  8. It is not a bagleys as they are wood and this is a plastic baits. It is a norman or a norman knock off. They made a bait years ago called a scooter that looked very similar to you picture. The picture I posted earlier in not a middle n. Here's a middle n and I think it has the right bill.
  9. Looks like a Norman Middle N

  12. These were called Magicscales by lucky craft
  13. Mark, I had some scales that lucky craft use to sell. Unfortunately they quit selling them. The bait looks good Mike!
  14. Yes I designed that color for them. They make it in a 2 1/2" (1.5) and a 2 3/4 (2.5). Thats the only square bill sizes there are.
  15. Those are bass pro exclusive colors. When I design a color for BassPro, it becomes their own exclusive color and only available from Bass Pro. After a year, the manufacturer can then offer it in their regular line up of colors if they choose to do so.
  16. Gees Clemmy what a memory you have. I had forgotten all of those guys but remember the names now. I know I was one of the original moderators but I cant think of the rest of them. Due to to much work I had to be replaced. I think Sketter stepped in to take my place. Clemmy can probably name the other original moderator back in the day.
  17. They would have to eat the paint to sue me. We dont sell lures, just paint jobs.
  18. Soda blasting does not work on epoxy but will work on MCU's.
  19. Its a Life tone color. Its only available in lacquer but any white pearl will work. http://www.mckenziesp.com/LT975E-P13255.aspx
  20. It is transparent color with colored pearl pigment. It comes in green, red, blue , violet and gold. The darker the back ground color the more the colored pigment shows up.
  21. Nunnable, go to you transparent white post for the answer you been looking for.
  22. That's it. I use the same brand in lacquer. Thanks Richard.
